Just and True are Your Ways

God is just and true in all His ways
and the signs are all around us of how He cares for people.  During the Exodus in the wilderness, we find God was a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.  Notice the manifestation of God’s sign to the people was a pillar.  A pillar reminds us of strength.

I would challenge us to look into our own lives and see if we can find the signs of God’s presence.  Too often times we dismiss these signs as mere coincidences.  I would have to argue that based on the evidence we have and belief in God there are no such things as coincidences.  God has designed us to divinely interact with Him and each other bringing the tangible answers of His greatness into our lives.

Often we look at God as a distant orchestra conductor that is not accessible, except through prayer.  We need to believe that He has divinely been connecting with mankind since Adam was formed from the dust of the earth.    In our understanding of God, we must come to the place where we can rejoice in Lord and that He is our strength and song.  He must be recognized as our salvation. All the nations will come and worship Him.  They will worship God because of the righteous acts that have been revealed by His hand alone.

When we surrender our position of human pride and embrace the understanding of God’s ways being just and true, the door to the kingdom is open and life is renewed.

“And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.  The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people.” – Exodus  13:21-22

“Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the Lord, saying, ‘I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider He has thrown into the sea.  The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him. The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is His name.’” – Exodus 15:1-3

“And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, ‘Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty!  Just and true are Your ways, O King of the nations!  Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy.  All nations will come and worship You, for your righteous acts have been revealed.’” – Revelation 5:3-4
